This project involved the development of a 600-space intermodal and parking facility in Derry Township, Dauphin County, PA.  Specifically, the site is situated between the Hershey Company’s Corporate Office and the Hershey Story located on N. Chocolate Avenue and south of the existing Norfolk Southern Railroad tracks, in Downtown Hershey.
The 600-space parking facility provides parking for the Hershey Company, Devon’s Seafood and Houlihan’s Restaurants, The Hershey Story and public parking for the Hershey Area. The intermodal provides accommodations for local bus traffic (including CAT and COLT buses) and connection to the future Corridor Two which will include light rail station. A future trolley and tram line were included in the plans.  The construction of this facility is part of a broader plan to revitalize downtown Hershey.
